  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • ¼ cup fresh basil (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, half of the mozzarella, parmesan, chopped basil, salt, and pepper until well blended.
  4. Carefully stuff each shell with the cheese mixture and place them seam-side up in the baking dish.
  5. Pour marinara sauce over the stuffed shells and sprinkle remaining mozzarella on top.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
