Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 cup green olives, chopped (optional)
  • 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the chopped onion until translucent. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

  3. Stir in chopped green olives (if using) and cook for two more minutes.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface; cut into circles about five inches in diameter.
  5. Place a spoonful of filling in each pastry circle. Fold over and crimp edges to seal.
