  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine yellow cake mix, eggs, and milk; mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Once baked, let the cake cool for 10 minutes, then poke holes all over the top with a fork.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and 2 cups of milk as per package instructions; pour this mixture over the poked cake.
  6. For the ganache, heat heavy whipping cream until hot but not boiling, then pour it over chocolate chips in a bowl and let sit for 5 minutes before stirring until smooth.
  7. Pour the ganache evenly over the cooled cake and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
