Description

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt until combined.
  3. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Allow it to cool slightly before mixing it into the dry ingredients.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and vanilla extract. Add in the melted butter and mix until well combined.
  5. Gradually fold the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until just combined. Gently stir in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop heaping tablespoons of batter onto the prepared baking sheet and swirl gently using a toothpick or knife for a marbled effect.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until set but still fudgy.
