Ingredients

  • Baking Soda
  • Unsalted Butter
  • Brown Sugar
  • Granulated Sugar
  • Eggs
  • Vanilla Extract

  • Cream Cheese
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Lemon Juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda; gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. For the filling, blend softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth.
  6. Scoop about two tablespoons of cookie dough onto the prepared sheets, flatten slightly, add one tablespoon of cream cheese filling on top, and cover with another scoop of dough. Seal edges well.
