  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices (or veggies)
  • ½ cup tomato sauce (for filling and dipping)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface until about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Cut out circles using a round cutter or glass (4-5 inches in diameter).
  4. In the center of each circle, place 1 tablespoon of mozzarella cheese, a couple of pepperoni slices, and a small spoonful of tomato sauce.
  5. Fold each circle in half and pinch the edges tightly to seal; crimp with a fork if desired.
  6. Place the filled pockets on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving with extra tomato sauce for dipping.
