Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted and chopped
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the chopped cherries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Mix well and set aside.
