  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 package (17.3 oz) puff pastry sheets
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (low-sodium if preferred)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Egg wash (1 egg + 1 tbsp milk)

Instructions

  1. Cook diced chicken in a skillet over medium heat until no longer pink. Add frozen vegetables, chicken broth, and heavy cream; stir to combine.
  2. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer gently while preparing the pastry.
  3. Roll out thawed puff pastry sheets on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick; cut into circles (4-5 inches).
  4. Place filling on one half of each circle, brush edges with egg wash, fold over, and seal with a fork.
  5. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet, brush tops with egg wash, and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
