Description

Chocolate Almond Croissants bring the charm of a Parisian café right to your kitchen.   • 1 sheet store-bought puff pastry
  • 4 oz dark chocolate bar (70% cocoa)
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • 1 egg + 1 tbsp water (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into triangles (4 inches wide at the base, 6 inches tall).
  3. Place small pieces of dark chocolate and a sprinkle of sliced almonds at the base of each triangle.
  4. Roll each triangle tightly from the base to tip, pinching ends to secure.
  5. Mix egg with water and brush over each croissant for a golden finish.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden brown. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
