Ingredients

  • 8 oz high-quality dark chocolate (at least 60% cocoa)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the dark chocolate and place it in a heat-proof bowl.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it simmers. Remove from heat.
  3. Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate and let it sit for 5 minutes.
