Description

  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter with brown and granulated sugars until creamy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla until combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and cinnamon together.
  5. Gradually fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Pour half the batter into the prepared pan; sprinkle with cinnamon. Top with remaining batter and swirl gently using a knife.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are golden brown. Cool completely before glazing with powdered sugar mixed with milk.
