  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tub chocolate frosting (16 oz)
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Colorful sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two round 9-inch cake pans.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water. Mix on medium speed for 2 minutes until smooth.
  3. Gently fold in the chocolate chips using a spatula.
  4. Divide batter evenly between prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Allow cakes to cool in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
  6. Spread frosting on top of one cooled layer, sprinkle with marshmallows and chocolate chips, then place the second layer on top.
