Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup flour (any type)
  • 2 tbsp tahini paste
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Drain and rinse the chickpeas, then let them dry.
  2. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, parsley, garlic, cumin, coriander, and onion; pulse until slightly chunky.
  3. Add flour and lemon juice; blend until mixed. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  4. Shape the mixture into small balls and place them on parchment paper.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray falafel with olive oil.
  6. Air fry for about 15 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
  7. For the tahini dip, whisk together tahini paste, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and water until smooth.
