  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (approx. 1.5 lbs)
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Chop the onion and mince the garlic.
  2. Place chicken breasts in the crockpot and top with onion and garlic.
  3. Pour barbecue sauce over the ingredients.
  4. Sprinkle smoked paprika, brown sugar, salt, and pepper, then drizzle with cider vinegar.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Shred the chicken in the sauce before serving on buns or rice.
