Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a bowl, mix flour and granulated sugar. Cut in cold butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- In a separate bowl, whisk one egg and stir in almond extract. Combine with the flour mixture until a dough forms.
- On a floured surface, knead the dough gently and shape it into a rectangle about 12×8 inches. Place on a greased baking sheet.
