  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fold in both types of chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
  7. Allow to cool slightly on wire racks before serving.
