Description

Easter Poke Cake is a delightful, vibrant dessert that combines fluffy vanilla cake soaked in fruity gelatin, topped with whipped cream and sprinkles—a perfect treat for your spring celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box vanilla cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 package (3 oz) fruit-flavored gelatin (your choice)
  • 1 tub whipped topping (8 oz)
  • 1/2 cup assorted sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Once slightly cooled (about 15 minutes), poke holes all over the cake using a fork.
  5. Prepare the fruit-flavored gelatin according to package instructions and pour it over the poked cake while warm.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  7. Before serving, spread whipped topping over the chilled cake and add sprinkles on top.
