Ingredients

  • Brown Sugar
  • Sea Salt Flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cream softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Spoon batter into liners, filling two-thirds full.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Prepare salted caramel by melting brown sugar with heavy cream over medium heat until bubbly.
  9. Cool cupcakes, then fill each with warm salted caramel sauce using a knife or corer.
  10. Frost generously and drizzle more caramel on top.
