Description

Indulge in a guilt-free delight with these healthy almond joys! Bursting with the rich flavors of dark chocolate, chewy coconut, and crunchy almonds, these bite-sized treats are perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth without compromising your health.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) if roasting almonds.
  2. Spread almonds on a baking sheet and roast for 10 minutes until golden brown.
  3. In a bowl, mix coconut flakes, maple syrup, and 1 tbsp melted coconut oil until well combined.
  4. Form small mounds of the mixture on parchment paper and press an almond into each.
  5. Melt dark chocolate chips with remaining coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
  6. Dip each coconut mound into melted chocolate and place back on parchment paper. Refrigerate for 30 minutes until set.
