  • 9 no-boil lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and gather all ingredients.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté diced onions until soft. Add ground beef or sausage; cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Stir in minced garlic; cook for another minute. Add marinara sauce and simmer on low heat.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, Parmesan, chopped basil, salt, and pepper until well blended.
