  • ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time to the butter mixture, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until set but still soft in the center.
