  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until pale and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing in lemon zest and juice.
