- 1 medium red onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup ripe tomatoes, diced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced (adjust for heat)
- 1 tsp sea salt (to taste)
- 1 avocado, diced
Instructions
- Rinse the fish under cold water and pat dry. Cube into half-inch pieces.
- Marinate the fish in lime juice for 15-20 minutes until it turns opaque.
- While the fish marinates, chop the red onion, tomatoes, jalapeños, and cilantro. Combine in a large mixing bowl with salt and additional lime juice.
- Drain some lime juice from the fish before adding it to the vegetable mix. Fold gently to combine.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt or lime juice if needed.
