Instructions
- Boil the potatoes in salted water until fork-tender (15-20 minutes), then drain.
- Mash the drained potatoes with butter and milk until smooth; season with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, sauté onions over medium heat until translucent (about 5 minutes). Add carrots and cook until tender (about 5 more minutes).
