  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Rinse wild rice under cold water until clear. In a medium saucepan, combine rice and vegetable broth; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 45 minutes until tender.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion; sauté for about 5 minutes until translucent. Stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  3. Mix miso paste into the skillet until well combined with the onions and garlic.
  4. Fluff cooked rice with a fork and add it to the skillet. Gently fold to coat rice in the miso mixture.
  5. Season with salt and pepper. Top with sliced green onions before serving.
