- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Tahini sauce (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix ground lamb, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, cinnamon, cumin, salt, and pepper until just combined.
- Wet hands and form the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs. Arrange on a lined baking sheet.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake meatballs for about 20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 160°F/71°C).
- If using tahini sauce, whisk together the ingredients while meatballs bake.
- Serve warm with tahini sauce drizzled over the top alongside couscous or pita bread.
