  • 1 sheet store-bought puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 egg (beaten) mixed with 1 tsp water (for egg wash)

  • Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry to about 1/8 inch thick and cut into strips, approximately 1 inch wide and 4 inches long.
  3. Place a string cheese stick at one end of each pastry strip, wrap snugly, and seal the edges.
  4. Brush each wrapped stick with egg wash and sprinkle with oregano if desired.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
