  • 1 Ribeye or Sirloin Steak (11.5 inches thick)
  • 2 tsp Coarse Salt
  • 1 tsp Freshly Cracked Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • Fresh Herbs (Thyme or Rosemary) – Optional

Instructions

  1. Allow the steak to reach room temperature for about 30 minutes, then pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Generously season both sides of the steak with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering but not smoking.
