  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup whole milk (warmed)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon powder
  • 34 ripe peaches (diced)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for filling)
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk to about 110°F (43°C) and mix with yeast and sugar in a large bowl; let bubble.
  2. Gradually add flour and salt; knead on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth.
  3. Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour until doubled.
  4. Combine diced peaches with sugar and cinnamon for the filling.
  5. Roll out dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter, then evenly distribute peach filling.
  6. Roll tightly into a log, slice into 12 rolls, and place in a greased baking dish to rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
