Description

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 medium sweet onion, diced
  • 1 cup bell peppers (mixed colors), diced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a large baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms in olive oil until softened (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. Push veggies aside and add ground beef; cook until browned, breaking it apart (about 8 minutes).
  4. Stir in garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  5. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  6. In the baking dish, layer half of the noodles, half of the beef mixture, and half of the provolone cheese. Repeat layers.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
