- ¼ cup baking soda
- 1 tsp coarse sea salt (for topping)
- 2 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and warm water to form a smooth dough. Let it rest for about 10 minutes.
- Roll out the dough into strips and wrap each hot dog completely.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add baking soda. Boil each wrapped hot dog for about 30 seconds.
- Place boiled pretzel dogs on the prepared baking sheet. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
