Instructions

  4. Bake for about 1 hour or until crisp outside and slightly soft inside. Turn off the oven and leave the door ajar to cool completely.
  5. While cooling, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form—avoid overwhipping.
  6. Once cooled, transfer the pavlova to a serving platter, fill with whipped cream, and garnish with rose petals.
