Description

Mint Lemonade is a refreshing summer drink that perfectly balances zesty lemons with fragrant mint, delivering a thirst-quenching experience for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 46 lemons)
  • 10 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups filtered water (2 hot, 2 cold)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Wash the lemons thoroughly and juice them to obtain one cup of fresh lemon juice.
  2. In a pot, bring one cup of water to a boil; add mint leaves and steep for five minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in sugar until dissolved.
  4. Combine lemon juice and cooled mint syrup in a large pitcher, then add four cups of cold water.
  5. Serve over ice, garnished with mint leaves or lemon slices.
