Description

Sausage Breakfast Uncrustables are the ultimate breakfast solution for busy mornings or leisurely brunches. These handheld delights feature fluffy scrambled eggs, savory sausage, and melted cheese nestled between buttery, toasted bread. Not only are they quick to prepare, but they can also be made ahead of time and frozen for those hectic days. Enjoy a satisfying breakfast without sacrificing flavor or time!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 slices white bread
  • 2 breakfast sausage links
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat and spray with cooking spray.
  2. Cook the sausage links for about 6-8 minutes until golden brown; set aside.
  3. In a bowl, whisk eggs with salt and pepper, then scramble in a separate non-stick pan over low heat until just set.
  4. To assemble, place scrambled eggs and sausage pieces on one slice of bread, sprinkle with cheese, and cover with another slice.
  5. Butter both sides of each sandwich and toast in the skillet until golden brown (about 3-4 minutes per side).
  6. Allow to cool slightly before slicing into quarters and serve warm.
