  • 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz short pasta (penne or rigatoni)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to broil. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic; sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add shrimp; cook until pink.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and lemon juice; simmer for 2 minutes.
  4. Stir cooked pasta into the skillet along with half of the Parmesan cheese, mixing well.
  5. Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish, top with remaining Parmesan, and broil for 5–7 minutes until bubbly and golden.
