- 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 oz short pasta (penne or rigatoni)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to broil. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic; sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add shrimp; cook until pink.
- Pour in heavy cream and lemon juice; simmer for 2 minutes.
- Stir cooked pasta into the skillet along with half of the Parmesan cheese, mixing well.
- Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish, top with remaining Parmesan, and broil for 5–7 minutes until bubbly and golden.
