- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 cups cold water

Instructions
- Boil 4 cups of water in a medium saucepan until it reaches a rolling boil.
- Remove from heat and add 4-6 black tea bags. Steep for 5 minutes.
- Remove tea bags and stir in 1 cup of granulated sugar while the mixture is still warm.
- Pour the sweetened tea into a pitcher and add 4 cups of cold water. Stir well and let cool completely.
- Serve over ice in tall glasses and garnish with fresh lemon slices.
