Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with diced onions until no longer pink (about 7-10 minutes). Drain excess fat.
- Stir in garlic powder, salt, pepper, and cream of mushroom soup. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, layer the beef mixture evenly at the bottom. Sprinkle half of the cheddar cheese on top followed by the tater tots.
