  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning blend
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, honey, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, soy sauce, paprika, salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning blend, and cayenne (if using).
  2. Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over them. Seal tightly and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 4 hours).
  3. Preheat grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade and discard the marinade.
  4. Grill chicken for 6-8 minutes per side until fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  5. Let rest for about 5 minutes before slicing or serving.
