Description

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 3/4 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in granulated and brown sugars until well combined.
  3. Allow the mixture to cool slightly before whisking in the eggs one at a time.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together flour and cocoa powder. Gradually fold this dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the chopped pecans, then pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.
  6. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the batter, then pour in the remaining brownie batter and top with another drizzle of caramel.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until set. Let cool before slicing.
