  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 1/4 tsp salt adjust based on feta saltiness

Method

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Gather all ingredients and ensure the feta cheese is crumbled and the roasted red peppers are drained if using jarred.
  2. Minced the garlic finely to release its flavor effectively.
Blend the Dip
  1. In a food processor, combine the crumbled feta cheese, roasted red peppers, Greek yogurt, olive oil, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, lemon juice, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Pulse the mixture until smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a spatula as needed to ensure all ingredients are well incorporated.
Taste and Adjust
  1. Taste the dip and adjust seasoning if necessary. You can add more red pepper flakes for additional heat or more lemon juice for brightness.
Serve
  1. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and drizzle with a little extra olive oil on top for garnish. Serve with pita bread, crackers, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

For a smoky flavor, you can use smoked feta or add a few drops of liquid smoke. This dip can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator to allow the flavors to meld.
