Ingredients

For the Margarita Base
  • 2 cups fresh peaches peeled and pitted
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice about 4-5 limes
  • 1/4 cup agave syrup adjust sweetness to taste
  • 1 cup silver tequila use a good quality tequila
  • 1/2 cup orange liqueur such as Cointreau or Triple Sec
  • 2 cups ice for blending
For the Rim
  • 1 tablespoon coarse sea salt for rimming glasses
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice for rimming glasses
For Garnish
  • 4 slices fresh peach for garnish
  • 4 lime wedges lime for garnish

Method

Prepare the Glasses
  1. Start by rimming the glasses. Pour lime juice onto a small plate and the coarse sea salt onto another plate. Dip the rim of each glass into the lime juice, then into the salt to coat the rim evenly. This adds flavor and enhances the drink's presentation.
Blend the Margarita
  1. In a blender, combine the peeled and pitted peaches, fresh lime juice, agave syrup, silver tequila, orange liqueur, and ice. Blend on high until smooth. This process combines all the flavors and creates a refreshing, slushy texture.
  2. Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness by adding more agave syrup if desired. Blend again briefly to mix.
Serve
  1. Pour the blended margarita into the prepared glasses. You can use a strainer if you prefer a smoother texture without any peach pulp.
  2. Garnish each drink with a slice of fresh peach and a lime wedge on the rim of the glass. This adds a beautiful touch and a hint of extra flavor.

Notes

For the best flavor, use ripe peaches. If fresh peaches are not available, you can substitute with frozen peaches, but reduce the amount of ice to achieve the desired consistency.
